Meet Lindsay:

Hi! I’m Lindsay, Founder of Lindsay Lewis Sleep Solutions and Certified Sleep Sense Consultant. I’m based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and passionate about helping families across Canada (and beyond!) get the sleep they deserve.

I’ve always believed that sleep is fundamental to our health and well-being. However, after I had my first child, I came to realize just how crucial a good night sleep is for the whole family.

Today, I’m a mother of three young, well-rested children. But I’ve been there and I get it. You’re exhausted, frustrated and your baby is miserable. I understand how debilitating lack of sleep can be and how it impacts every aspect of your life.

I’m thrilled to have trained under Dana Obleman, a pioneer in the field of pediatric sleep coaching and the creator of the hugely successful Sleep Sense program. I love sharing my knowledge and creating solutions that work for the whole family.

Meet Lisa:

Hi everyone! I’m Lisa, mom to my two super little sleepers! Emmett is 3 years old and Millie is 6 months old. I’ve been teaching grade primary for the past 12 years. I love spending time with my family and friends, days spent at the beach and summer nights by the fire. 

While I was pregnant with Emmett, I didn’t fear delivery or the life adjustments that would follow having a tiny little human. My biggest fear was how I would function and be a good mom on little to no sleep. I knew beforehand that I wasn’t great at dealing with things when I was tired, so it scared me to think of everything I would have to manage postpartum.

I toughed through the first few months, like most all mothers do; sleep deprived, with lots of coffee and dry shampoo. Some days/nights were alright, then we’d fall into a rut of numerous sleepless nights, where I would spend the night googling anything related to baby sleep and how to make it better, all the while nursing, bouncing/swaying and praying he would fall back asleep. 

At around the 4-month mark, my partner and I had enough. We knew something had to change. We contacted Lindsay and it continues to be the best parenting decision we’ve made to this day. When Emmett quickly started sleeping through the night, I wanted to shout it out from the rooftop! I wanted every mom out there to know that there was a light at the end of the tunnel.

I was so passionate about sharing the good news, that I decided to become a certified sleep consultant myself. I reached out to Lindsay for some information and a little guidance and I’m so happy I did. I successfully completed the Sleep Consultant Certification Program through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting. Now I’ve joined Lindsay, and I’m so eager to help families get the sleep they deserve, just like Lindsay helped mine!
